Juventus monitors Jonathan David
Juventus is preparing for the future and is therefore looking at several attackers. According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Jonathan David is also on the list of 'candidates'.
Turning 23 in January, the Canadian international is playing for Lille in Ligue 1 and has scored nine goals in the league this season. He will be at the World Cup with Canada this winter, where he can once again show his qualities.
This summer, the striker was already associated with a move to Arsenal. However, the 'Gunners' ultimately voted for Gabriel Jesus. David has a contract with Lille until mid-2025. The French club has already indicated that the striker is only being sold for a record amount. According to 'Transfermarkt', the forward is worth 45 million euros.
As a result, David would become the most expensive purchase from Juventus this winter. So far, the Italian club has only brought in one player: Fabio Miretti, who was promoted from the youth academy. With the Canadian in the selection, Juventus would have a player with an eye for the goal. This season, the 'old lady' only manages to score 13 times in eleven Serie A matches.
The arrival of David could make the departure of Dusan Vlahovic more likely. The Serbian striker was already on the interest list of several clubs this summer, but Juventus managed to keep the attacker. However, with David's imminent arrival, there is a good chance that the Serbian international will take the exit.
